4. they ask you simple things like ; what is you email adress?, where do you live?, how old are you?,
what gender are you?, things like this
5. you search what item you want to buy, and then you click 'add to basket', from this you click buy, and then purchase your item online via debit or credit card information

unit 2 - activity 4
As people will ask questions about channel 4’s shows etc…,
the channel 4 team, need to quickly respond to these. To do this they may need a
lot of staff to do a 24 hour, round the clock, question and answer session for
the people that need their questions answered.
Another way to get peoples questions answered to do a ‘FAQ’ (
frequently asked questions ) forum or some equivalent. This helps people find
the answer they need very quickly as the question they want to ask might of
already been asked by someone else and therefore already answered.
Another way to answer questions is to let the community to
answer them via live chat. I have already spoken about how live chat is useful
in a previous post. But also, not just a 1 to 1 chat with an online moderator,
but have a group chat with people from the community, as other people may know
the answer to the question in hand.
They might have not been the 1st website to do
this and won’t certainly be the last. They make the idea work well and it is efficient

unit 2 - activity 3
Live chat is a really good feature that all websites and companies
should and must have. It is really reliable for the customers and this means
that you will be understand people better as they won’t have sharp accents or
you can’t hear them as they are foreign.
It is a really quick way of communication as they can do
what they need to do very quickly and efficiently.
I have been talking to people via this service for a long
time and I think that it is really good. I use customer services a lot which
this way of communicating is much more efficient than talking/ communicating
via phone .
The only problem I can think of is that you might have to
wait a while for the person to come into contact you as it is one to one
conversation.
unit 2 - activity 2
The purpose of the Bedfordshire county council’s website is
to inform the public of what they need to know about the county were in which
they reside.
The target audience is basically the whole of the county. Although
not many teenage people will view the site, they still have access to it.
The major benefits are that if you want to ask a question,
someone else might have already asked that question so the answer should be
easily found. It also reduces the amount of time taken on the phone talking to people
that don’t know what.
It may be hard to use the website if you are not a ‘tech’
type person.
I do not think anything could be done to improve the quality
of the website as I think that it is very easy to use and has all the
information that I need.

Unit 2 activity 1
Listening to internet radio requires fast, high quality
internet access as you need to be able to listen to it without it buffering.
Downloading videos and mp3 songs requires good internet so
you can download them fast so you don’t have to wait.
All the others require internet access but doesn’t necessarily
need fast internet. You can do grocery shopping online without a fast internet
as you are not streaming, just looking at pictures and the same goes for the CD
shopping.
